About Tresoil

TRESOIL’s vision is to propel the Europe’s burgeoning hydrogen economy whilst purging the EU of the scourge of waste plastic and toxic waste. Within 10 years, TRESOIL and intends to develop a network of up to 50 waste-to-electricity or hydrogen plants in Europe, and further explore the potential for the technology. The plants are compact, modular and factory built, so they can be erected close to the source of waste, and do not produce harmful by-products or require a smokestack (chimney).

SOLUTION

TRESOIL BIOFUELS SRL (TRESOIL) will promote a fast development and commercial take-up and deployment of the new Powerhouse Energy (PHE) to transport fuel PHEW2H2 DMG® system Ultra Heat Temperature (UHT) distributed modular gasification power plant to produce 99.9 % pure zero emission hydrogen at community level to fuel urban transport from municipal, commercial waste, and toxic waste. The feasibility report unit will promote TRESOIL vision of producing a clean green zero emission transport fuel to mitigate air pollution and eradicate landfills.

THE NEED

Buses are a big source of air pollution in European cities, which according to European statistics some have the worst air pollution problems in the EU. Another big problem is waste management, this waste is send to landfill dumps that are full to the brim, and cannot cope with the enormous quantities of plastics, old tires and other waste that most dumps have to cope with. This is further exacerbated by China’s and all other plastic importing countries decision to ban the import of waste plastic and other toxic waste from Europe. 400,000 EU citizens per year die from health related issues in Europe due to environmental air pollution concern. In Madrid, 62 micrograms were registered last year – 55% over the limit; and in Barcelona, the figure was 59 micrograms – 47.5% over.
